FAQ
What happens to my Free account if I do not use it for a while?
The Free plan is permanently free and never expires. If a Free account is inactive for 12 months, we send a reminder email and schedule deletion 30 days later — you can cancel that at any time via the reactivation link in the email. Accounts with an active paid subscription or shared workspaces are exempt.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes, anytime. Plan changes (e.g. Pro ↔ Team) and switching from Monthly to Yearly take effect immediately with prorated billing. Switching from Yearly to Monthly takes effect at the end of your paid yearly period. A full cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — after that your workspace stays on the Free plan.
How does team billing work?
Each plan includes a fixed number of members at a flat monthly price (Pro: 2, Team: 5). If you need more, you can add extra seats anytime — from 9.90 EUR/month per seat. Every member seat includes two guest slots (read-only or comment) at no extra cost.
Where is my data stored?
Workspace and AI data are processed exclusively in the EU: Hetzner data centers in Germany (Nuremberg, Falkenstein, Helsinki), AI requests via AWS Frankfurt (Anthropic) and Google Cloud Frankfurt (Gemini) — each with Zero Data Retention, no training on your data. Third-country transfers only apply to the optional Google login and Stripe corporate payment processing — both safeguarded under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
